Ministry Groups
Our Ministry groups in the church play a crucial role in fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and service. Our active ministry groups include:
- Men’s Fellowship: Focuses on spiritual development and fostering camaraderie among men in the congregation.
- Women’s Fellowship: Provides a space for women to grow in faith, build relationships, and serve the church and community.
- Youth and Young Adults Ministry: Engages young people through spiritual guidance, mentorship, and activities tailored to their unique challenges.
- Elders – Golden Age Group: Involves guiding the church’s vision and supporting members spiritually and administratively.
- Worship Ministry – Choir: Worship Ministry – Choir: Focuses on organizing and leading worship services, including special events such as Ester, Choir Sunday, Parish day, Christmas recital, and liturgical activities.
- Sunday School Ministry: Dedicated to teaching children and adults biblical principles and Christian values.
- Outreach Ministry: Aims to serve the broader community through charitable work, evangelism, and social initiatives.
- Mission and Charity: The mission and charity ministry of our church often reflects its commitment to serving both the spiritual and practical needs of its local community and around the world.

Men's Fellowship
The focus of Men’s fellowship is on building strong, trusting relationships while encouraging men to grow in their faith and support one another in their spiritual journeys.
The Men’s Fellowship at CSI Christ Church of Chicago is a dedicated group that empowers men to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and serve the community. Through prayer meetings, Bible studies, and outreach activities, the fellowship encourages men to deepen their faith and become positive role models in their families and society. It also provides opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and engaging discussions on topics relevant to their spiritual and personal lives.

Youth And Young Adults

Elders - Golden Age group

By offering support, guidance, and encouragement, elders help nurture the spiritual well-being of individuals and create a strong foundation for the church’s ministry and outreach efforts.
With the dynamic leadership of Thomas Koshy, the Golden Age group has successfully organized numerous outing events over the past years, with many more exciting activities planned for the future.
Golden Hearts, Guiding Light
The Elders or Golden Age group within the church ministry is a cherished community of seasoned individuals who bring wisdom, life experiences, and a deep spiritual perspective. This ministry is designed to celebrate and honor their role as pillars of faith while providing opportunities for fellowship, growth, and service.
Activities often include Bible studies tailored to their life stage, prayer groups, and discussions that address topics of relevance and encouragement. The ministry also fosters community through social gatherings, outreach projects, and events where elders can connect, share their stories, and uplift one another.
Beyond spiritual engagement, the Golden Age group also emphasizes mutual care, offering emotional and practical support to one another during times of need. Their active participation enriches the life of the church, inspiring younger generations with their steadfast faith and invaluable insights.
Worship Ministry – Choir
Worship ministry serves as the heart of a church’s spiritual expression, guiding the congregation to connect deeply with God through music, prayer, and praise. It is centered on creating an environment where individuals can lift their voices and hearts in reverence, gratitude, and adoration.
CSI Christ of Chicago is truly blessed with the talents of gifted songwriters and music composers within its choir. Our Focus is on organizing and leading worship services, including special events such as Ester, Choir Sunday, Parish day, Christmas recital, and liturgical activities.
Our Church choir is a beautiful and integral part of our traditional worship, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere through music and song. It often serves to lead the congregation in traditional hymns, perform special anthems, and support the liturgy with harmonized voices. Furthermore, we are actively striving to enhance:
- Highlight a Theme: Focus on South Indian Christian traditions or a blend of cultural and contemporary worship songs.
- Recruiting & Training: Encourage participation from all age groups, from children to seniors, and hold regular rehearsals.
- Special Performances: Organize seasonal concerts, such as Christmas or Easter cantatas, to bring the community together.
- Choir Uniforms: Consider elegant and modest attire that unites the choir visually during services.
The church choir is an integral part of worship, uniting voices in harmony to glorify God and lead the congregation in praise. Composed of passionate and dedicated individuals, the choir brings depth and emotion to worship services, creating an atmosphere that uplifts the spirit and strengthens faith.

Sunday School
Sunday School is a ministry dedicated to teaching biblical principles and nurturing faith among children, youth, and adults. It provides a supportive environment for studying scripture, learning about Christian values, and growing spiritually through engaging lessons, discussions, and activities. It often serves as a foundation for deepening understanding and building a strong relationship with God within a church community.
Sunday School is a foundational ministry within the church that is dedicated to teaching individuals, especially children and young people, about the principles of the Christian faith. It provides a structured environment where participants can learn about God’s Word, build a solid spiritual foundation, and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday school class runs from 9:00 to 9:50 AM. Sunday School classes focus on biblical teachings, prayer, and spiritual growth. They are led by dedicated teachers who create engaging lessons using storytelling, creative activities, crafts, and discussions. This interactive approach helps participants connect with scripture in a meaningful way and applies biblical teachings to everyday life.
Sunday School is also a place where community and fellowship flourish. It nurtures connections among participants of all ages, creating a supportive environment for sharing experiences, asking questions, and growing together in faith. Many Sunday School ministries also include special programs, such as holiday celebrations, outreach projects, or camps, which further enrich the spiritual journey of attendees.
Adult Bible Study – 9:20 to 9:50 AM.
Adult Bible Study is a focused and enriching ministry that gathers individuals to delve deeper into God’s Word and strengthen their faith. It offers an opportunity for adults of all ages to explore scripture, share insights, and grow spiritually in a supportive community. Through group discussions, prayer, and guided lessons, participants can connect biblical teachings to real-life applications, fostering a deeper understanding of their faith and its impact on daily living.
This ministry often includes thematic studies, exploring specific books of the Bible or topics such as discipleship, spiritual growth, or leadership. Facilitated by the vicar in charge, Adult Bible Study encourages thoughtful dialogue, mutual encouragement, and personal reflection, creating an environment of learning and connection.
It serves as a safe space for building relationships, addressing life’s challenges, and seeking wisdom in God’s Word while drawing closer to Him in fellowship.
Outreach Ministry
Outreach ministries are an essential part of our church’s mission, dedicated to extending God’s love and compassion to those who are in need within the community and beyond. Our focus is on serving individuals who are marginalized, disadvantaged, or facing challenges, with the goal of making a tangible impact on their lives.
Key activities often include providing food, clothing, and shelter to those in need, organizing educational programs and skills training, visiting the sick and elderly, and offering emotional and spiritual support. Outreach ministry groups also engage in disaster relief efforts, reaching out to communities affected by crises.
